A Summoning Event is a summoning focus which adds new characters to Fire Emblem Heroes, and usually takes place thrice a month.

New Heroes

New Heroes become permanent 4 ★ or 5 ★ additions to the summoning pool, after the initial event ends. They are accompanied by new Story Maps (or Paralogue Maps) and limited-time quests.

Special Heroes

Special Heroes are unique versions of Heroes found in the Fire Emblem series, who do not become part of the summoning pool and can only be summoned for a limited period of time. They are accompanied by new Paralogue Maps and limited-time quests.

Legendary, Mythic, Emblem Heroes

Legendary Heroes and Mythic Heroes do not become part of the summoning pool and can only be summoned for a limited period of time. They have inherent traits, related to Seasons and Blessings. Emblem Heroes are also only summonable for a limitde period of time. Each one grants a unique Emblem ring, which can be given to a Engage a single Hero.
