| Description | Calculates damage from staff like other weapons. Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1; max cooldown count cannot be reduced below 1). Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+15 to unit, unit deals +25 damage (excluding area-of-effect Specials), reduces damage from foe's attacks by 15 (excluding area-of-effect Specials), unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack, grants Special cooldown charge +1 to unit per attack (only highest value applied; does not stack), and grants Special cooldown count-1 to unit before unit's first attack during combat. For allies within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5, ally deals +7 damage (excluding area-of-effect Specials), reduces damage from foe's attacks by 7 (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and grants Special cooldown count-1 to ally before ally's first attack during combat. Grants "if unit's HP > 1 and foe would reduce unit's HP to 0 during combat, unit survives with 1 HP, and after combat, restores 99 HP to unit" to allies within 3 spaces of unit (effect only triggers for player's team once per map and does not stack with non-Special effects that allow unit to survive with 1 HP if foe's attack would reduce unit's HP to 0; when any other such effect triggers on an ally granted this effect, this effect will trigger too). |

Notes
- Valkyrie has the same effect as Wrathful Staff 3.
- Valkyrie allows the unit to deal staff damage like other weapons instead of halving damage after defenses are calculated, rounded down.
- A foe with Mystic Boost 4, Splashy Bucket, or Splashy Bucket+ will disable this effect.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
- The stat boost that can be applied during combat by Valkyrie is considered a temporary buff.
- The damage boosting effect is a flat +25/7 damage that ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage reduction effects such as Archrival, A/S Rival Break, and Dodge.
- Damage boosting effects stack additively, similar to flat damage-reduction effects and interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
- A foe equipped with Invincibility Seals will neutralize all sources of damage except from Røkkr area-of-effect Specials and the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
- A foe using attack damage preventing effects can neutralize damage dealt from the foe's own attacks and the unit's attacks (Units with Umbra Burst weapons will take and deal the minimum 1 damage).
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
- The flat damage-reduction effect is a flat -15/7 damage that is calculated after offensive Specials, damage boosting effects such as Arcane Thorn and Change of Fate, and "reduces damage by X%" effects such as Archrival and Dodge.
- If a an effect such as Miracle or Roy: Of Binding's boosted Special effect can trigger, the damage-reduction effect will not trigger and the user will still survive with only 1 HP.
- Umbra Burst weapons will always deal a minimum of 1 damage even if the foe uses attack damage preventing effects, Invincibility Seals, or damage reduction effects.
- Flat damage-reduction effects stack additively, similar to damage boosting effects and interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
- Flat damage-reduction effects cannot be neutralized or reduced only during combat by effects such as Share Spoils+ or Halves non-Special damage reduction.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
- As a general rule, if a unit is both prevented from making, and guaranteed to make a follow-up attack, the effects cancel out, and the Spd difference decides instead (including effects that alter the Spd difference such as Frozen).
- A foe with effects such as Phys. Null Follow or Null Follow-Up will neutralize the guaranteed follow-up attack granted by Valkyrie.
- The "Special cooldown charge +X" effect will stack with the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect.
- For example, if a unit is affected by both Guard and Special Cooldown Charge +1, the effects will stack and the cooldown will go down without penalty or bonus.
- If the effect is active, the unit will gain 2 charges from both attacking and being attacked.
- If used alongside another source of "Special cooldown charge +X", only the higher of the two charge increases will apply.
- This means that if a unit has two "Special cooldown charge +1" effects from two different sources, the battle will play out as if only one "Special cooldown charge +1" effect is active.
- Skills such as Tempo Echo and Arcane Þrima will neutralize effects that grant "Special cooldown charge +X" to the foe.
Template:CombatCooldownCharge
- The unit with Valkyrie only survives a single attack, so a second attack will still be lethal. If unit is at exactly at 1 HP and is hit with a lethal attack, Valkyrie will not trigger.
- Valkyrie stacks with other "unit survives with 1 HP" effects.
- Non-Special "unit survives with 1 HP" effects have priority over Special effects such as Miracle or Roy: Of Binding's boosted Special effect, however most of them only trigger once per combat.
- The Special cooldown count of Specials such as Miracle or Invincible Sister are unaffected by non-Special "unit survives with 1 HP" effects.
- Valkyrie only stacks with Special "unit survives with 1 HP" effects such as Miracle or Roy: Of Binding's boosted Special effect.
- Non-Special "unit survives with 1 HP" effects can be neutralized by effects such as Neutralizes non-Special "unit survives with 1 HP" effects or Budding Staff.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
- Valkyrie stacks with other "unit survives with 1 HP" effects.
- The healing effect is triggered regardless of whether Valkyrie's user performs an attack during combat. If foe initiates combat and user cannot counterattack, Valkyrie's healing effect will still trigger.
- Valkyrie's user needs to survive the combat for the healing effect to trigger.
- Valkyrie's healing effect stacks with skills such as Fury 4, that deal out of combat damage to their owner after combat.
- Valkyrie's after combat healing will not work if the foe has a skill that prevents HP recovery such as Fatal Smoke 4 or Incurable+, or the user has been inflicted with Deep Wounds.
- However, allies unaffected by Deep Wounds will still receive Valkyrie's healing effect.
- The temporary buffs, damage boost, damage reduction, special cooldown count -1, survival effect and after combat healing effects of Valkyrie will not apply to the user's allies if the user is inflicted with Time's Grip, the user's allies are inflicted with Feud, or the user's allies are in combat against a foe with skills such as Impenetrable Void and C Feud 3.
