Notes

• "If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
  • However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
• Flow Refresh will not neutralize the additional follow-up of Potent Follow effects.
• Follow-up effects that are neutralized by Flow Refresh:
  • Effects active on the unit that prevent their follow-up attacks, such as  Windsweep 3,  Watersweep 3, or  Weaving Fighter.
  • Effects active on the foe that prevent the unit's follow-up attacks such as  Steady Impact,  Vengeful Fighter 4, or  Foe Cannot Follow-Up.

• The healing effect is triggered regardless of whether Flow Refresh's user performs an attack during combat. If foe initiates combat and user cannot counterattack, Flow Refresh's healing effect will still trigger.
• Flow Refresh's user needs to survive the combat for the healing effect to trigger.
• Flow Refresh's healing effect stacks with skills such as  Fury 4, that deal out of combat damage to their owner after combat.
• Flow Refresh's after combat healing will not work if the foe has a skill that prevents HP recovery such as  Fatal Smoke 4 or  Incurable+, or the user has been inflicted with  Deep Wounds.
• The stat reduction that can be applied during combat by Flow Refresh 4 is considered a temporary debuff.

• The non-Special "reduces damage by X%" effect is calculated after offensive Specials and damage boosting effects such as  Arcane Thorn and  Change of Fate.
  • If an effect such as  Miracle or  Roy: Of Binding's boosted Special effect can trigger, the damage-reduction effect will not trigger and the user will still survive with only 1 HP.
  • Umbra Burst weapons will always deal a minimum of 1 damage even if the foe uses attack damage preventing effects, Invincibility Seals, or damage reduction effects.
  • "Reduces damage by X%" effects stack multiplicatively, unlike interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as  Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
    • For example, if the damage-reduction effects from both  Dodge and  Archrival trigger, the maximum total damage-reduction is 64% instead of 80%, since the two skills reduce the damage to (1 − 40%) × (1 − 40%) = 36% of the original damage.
  • Non-Special "reduces damage by X%" effects can be neutralized or reduced only during combat by effects such as  Share Spoils+ or  Halves non-Special damage reduction.
